Join us for Family STEM Night 2026!

The Clarke County Education Foundation (CCEF) is thrilled to invite all local families to the Clarke County Family STEM Night on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 5:30 PM at Clarke County High School! Prepare for an evening of hands-on discovery, innovation, and “Today and Tomorrow’s Trustworthy Technology and AI.” 

Event Highlights: 

  • Keynote Speaker: We are honored to welcome Dr. Christina Liaghati, MITRE’s Trustworthy & Secure AI Department Manager and MITRE Lead for the NIST AI Economic Security Centers. Dr. Liaghati will share her passion and resources for secure and trustworthy AI with our students and families.

  • Interactive Exhibits: Explore dozens of hands-on stations led by local organizations, featuring engineering challenges, scientific experiments, and the latest in tech.

  • Food & Fun: Grab dinner and dessert from local food trucks, snag free techy gifts, participate in a scavenger hunt and other attractions, enter the raffle prize draw, and receive tickets for free treats at school!

CCEF Partners with The Clarke County Nutrition Alliance (CCNA)

CCEF has launched the Clarke County Nutrition Alliance Fund to support CCPS families facing meal-related hardships, help resolve negative balances, and expand nutrition opportunities for students.

All students receive school meals every day, but rising costs and reduced assistance have increased the need for local support. This new fund provides a direct, tax-deductible way to help our kids and strengthen our community.

Check out our StoryWalk at Chet Hobert Park!

The CCEF is proud to sponsor a literacy initiative for the whole family in our community! Read a children’s book while you enjoy a nature walk at Chet Hobert Park.  This project is being funded by the Clarke County Education Foundation as a gift to the Clarke County community in celebration of the CCEF’s 30th Anniversary. The StoryWalk™ has 20 signs placed along the 2-mile fitness trail, each with a page of the book to read and discussion prompts. The signs are a permanent fixture in the park and will be changed at least three times per year for the community to enjoy.
