The Clarke County Education Foundation was proud to once again support Clarke County Public Schools by sponsoring the 2026 CCPS Convocation, bringing teachers, administrators, and staff together to celebrate the start of a new school year.
Convocation is an opportunity for the entire school division to come together before students return to the classroom. It is a time to reconnect, celebrate the important work happening throughout our schools, and begin the year with a shared sense of purpose. For CCEF, sponsoring this annual event is also an opportunity to show our appreciation for the dedicated educators and staff members who make a difference in the lives of Clarke County students each day.
This year’s Convocation featured keynote speaker Dr. Andy Jacks, an award-winning educator, school leader, author, and nationally recognized speaker. Known for his energetic and relatable approach to education and leadership, Dr. Jacks shared an inspiring message with CCPS employees as they prepared for the year ahead.
His message served as a reminder of the tremendous impact educators can have, not only through academics, but through the relationships they build, the encouragement they provide, and the moments that help students feel seen, supported, and capable of success.
CCEF was honored to help bring this opportunity to Clarke County educators.
While much of the Foundation’s work directly supports programs and opportunities for students, investing in the people who serve those students is an equally important part of our mission. Our teachers, administrators, support staff, bus drivers, cafeteria employees, instructional assistants, and countless other CCPS employees are at the heart of our school community.
Throughout the year, CCEF works alongside Clarke County Public Schools to provide resources that go beyond what traditional school funding can provide. From Classroom Impact Grants that help educators bring creative ideas to life, to continuing education scholarships, STEM programs, student scholarships, teacher and staff recognition, and donor supported projects throughout the division, our goal is to help provide opportunities that strengthen teaching and learning across Clarke County.
Convocation provides a special opportunity to begin that work together.
CCEF is incredibly grateful to the educators and staff members who dedicate their time, talents, and energy to Clarke County students. We know that the impact of a great school experience extends far beyond the classroom, and it is made possible by the people who show up for our students every day.
As another school year begins, CCEF looks forward to continuing our partnership with CCPS and finding new ways to support our schools, educators, and students.

About the Clarke County Education Foundation
Founded in 1991, the Clarke County Education Foundation (CCEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing private support to Clarke County Public Schools to enhance educational opportunities beyond what tax supported funding can provide. For 35 years, CCEF has partnered with educators, families, businesses, and community members to invest in Clarke County students and schools.
Since its founding, CCEF has invested more than $4 million in Clarke County Public Schools through student scholarships, Classroom Impact Grants, STEM and innovation initiatives, teacher continuing education scholarships, donor designated projects, and programs that support students and educators throughout the division.
