She has also served on the CCEF Board for over four years.

Now transitioning into this new leadership role, Dr. Fausey is shifting her professional focus to work and serve in a more local capacity. “For me, family and community are everything,” says Dr. Fausey. “I am thrilled to be a part of building STEM opportunities for our local youth, and it’s a true honor to be able to give back to a community and school system that have given so much to me.” She and her husband, Jon, live in Berryville on their farm, where they are raising their daughters Virginia and Lydia, and son Matthew.

“Cammie’s deep understanding of high-level STEM initiatives, combined with her strong roots in Clarke County and love for this community, make her the perfect person to lead this next chapter of growth,” said Beth Williams, Executive Director of the Clarke County Education Foundation. “Her energy, experience, and heart for education will help us ensure every student has access to forward-thinking, hands-on STEM opportunities and allow the Foundation to deepen its commitment to public education in Clarke County.”

In her role as Director of STEM Education and Innovation, Dr. Fausey will:

  • Oversee the strategic distribution of CCEF’s STEM Endowment Fund;
