20th Annual CCEF Gala
As a Board member and Fund Development Chairperson of the Clarke County Education Foundation (CCEF), it is such a pleasure to reach out to all the supportive businesses in the Shenandoah Valley, and request your help in providing sponsorship for our largest fundraiser of the year.
CCEF is hosting its 20th Annual Celebration, “Treasures of the Valley”, celebrating our Clarke County Public Schools (CCPS) planned for Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in Front Royal, Virginia. This event ultimately provides the resources for our organization to continue to serve our mission.
For the past 20 years, this annual charity celebration has assisted us in serving our mission of enhancing and augmenting all five of our Clarke County schools. CCEF has provided almost $2.5 million dollars in support of CCPS since 1991.
As state and federal education resources have become more limited, our volunteer board and community supporters are committed to developing innovative, alternative funding methods and resources and encouraging public involvement. Therefore, we are asking businesses and organizations to assist in underwriting the expenses of our event allowing all proceeds to benefit the students and staff of Clarke County Public Schools.
Our Silent and LIVE auction items provide something for everyone. Please note: Due to unforeseen renovations on the St. Croix house, this trip has been replaced by two amazing trips: Paris, France in June and Florida’s Emerald Coast during spring break next year! We will also auction off Valentines week in Las Vegas, Spring break in Hilton or Myrtle, and a getaway in November to the National Harbor.
Fire truck rides, sports memorabilia (autographed items from Hines Ward, Chris Cooley, Jeff Gordon, Danica Patrick, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.), tours, tastings, one-of-a-kind items, etc. To add to the fun we also have a photo booth, DJ, and dancing!
You may purchase single tickets or tables of eight or ten. A plated dinner will be served (stay tuned for the menu). Attire is business casual.
